Well, this weekend was one of wonder and excitement for me. My son, after only being in school for about a month has spontaneously began speaking the words please, no, thank you, and no thank you. These are things that he has previously "spoken" before, but has never verbalized them without any prompting. In addition, he used the word, very clearly and in the proper context with his "Uncle Steve". Why this is amazing to me, is because, while Steve is a good man, he is very basic. He does not know how to do anything but make a call on his cell phone, can not turn on a DVD player to save his life and has no idea the first thing about even turning a computer on. But he very clearly understood Anthony when he asked Steve to pick him up! This is the wonder of my life. Now what once was dark is now becoming light again.
